About the winery:
Ormonde is made in Darling, near the Atlantic Ocean. The grapes can ripen slowly because of the cooling effect of the Atlantic sea breezes. The strongest winds are stopped by a slight slope close to the sea and thus young plants and blossoms are protected. The vineyards are not irrigated, and the grapes are still picked by hand.
