Characteristics:
A deep red colour with a purple tinge, notes of tobacco and sweet cherries, black berries, and plums. Fills the palette with a firm chocolate and cedarwood aftertaste. Partially matured in combination of French, American and Eastern-European oak, 2nd fill. 77% of the blend is Cabernet Sauvignon.
Food pairing:
Baked, stir-fried or roasted red meat. Combine with pizza, charcuterie or game carpaccio.

Hill & Dale is a trademark from the famous Stellenzicht winery in Stellenbosch. The name stands for a series of enticing wines in terms of both quality and price. Winemaker Guy Webber produces the wines for easy drinking while still preserving the authentic grape flavours. All grapes originate from Stellenbosch and the label owes its name to the farm on the Stellenzicht property.
