Characteristics:
Elegant, fresh, and dry Champagne made from 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne. Collard-Picard shows respect for nature and the essence of Champagne: natural fermentation, long aging (12 months) in oak barrels, a blend of 4 different harvests with at least 60% reserve wine, and a minimum of 7 years of rest in the cellars. Extra brut due to a very small dosage. Brilliant gold with fine bubbles. Aromas of ripe fruit, cherries, and biscuit. On the palate, minerality and complexity, lovely fleshiness with red fruit, toasted bread in the finish. A delightful glass of Champagne to enjoy!

About the Winery:
Champagne Collard-Picard is located in Épernay and was founded in 1996 by Olivier Collard and Caroline Picard. They strive for top quality with a small area of 16 hectares, spread over 52 vineyards on the right bank of the Vallée de la Marne and in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, and Vertus in the Côte des Blancs. They follow a natural approach in their vineyards without the use of herbicides or insecticides. The team is strengthened by their son Alexandre, who has earned an MSc in Wine Management.
