Characteristics:
Aromatic and dry white wine, blend of 70% Verdeca and 30% Fiano, grapes planted in Lecce, Puglia. Straw yellow color with green hues, expressive aromas of white pear and medlar with floral notes and may flowers. The taste is dry, fresh with enticing mineral notes and good acidity.
Food pairing:
Delicious as an aperitif or with light fish dishes or shellfish, seafood pasta and pasta vongole is the 'evergreen'. Can also be served with light veggie/vegan dishes, such as roasted cauliflower with sumac.
