Characteristics:
Small production Pinot Noir; 100% malolactic fermentation and 20% matured on new French oak for 9 months. Layers of bright strawberries and wild rasberry fruit on the pallet with a hint of spice on the nose. This wine has a good acidity, showing a floral lift on the finish. Will mature well for another 5 years.
Food pairing:
Delicate and tender meats, cooked 'Rosé', like lamb, veal or goat, in natural and refined sauces.

Ginny Povall is the owner of the charming Sugarbird Manor and Protea Height Farm, located in Devon Valley, 10 minutes from the cozy Stellenbosch. It features 10ha flower soil and 5ha vineyard. Ginny is a winemaker and specializes in Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir.
