Characteristics:
Elegant and medium bodied white wine. The Poseidon Vineyards grapes were handpicked at night, fermented in barrels in a cool cellar for a month, stirred weekly to develop a rich and complex palate. Barrel ageing on 51% French new oak and Hungarian oak for 7 months. Delightful aromas of lemon zest, apple blossom, crème brûlée, and ginger, followed by flavours of white nectarine, lemon meringue.  Silky texture and a juicy long finish.

Food Pairing:
Try with white fish, white meat or with ripened cheeses. Go for fine rich fish such as turbot, grilled or seared lobster and scallops. Simply roast chicken or grilled veal chops with mushrooms and slow roast tomatoes, even white truffles. Vegetarians can pair it with red peppers, corn, butternut squash and pumpkin.

Black Stallion Winery is located in the southern part of Napa Valley in the premium AVA Oak Knoll District and was once home to a well-known equestrian centre on the iconic Silverado Trail, hence the link in its name. Grapes are selected with extreme care from a range of prestigious sub-appellations scattered across Napa. Los Carneros is one of Napa Valley’s coolest growing regions with marine infuences of both morning fog and afternoon wind originating from the San Pablo Bay. The Poseidon Vineyard produces grapes with ripe fruit characteristics, fantastic balance and finesse.
