Characteristics:
Dry rosé, salmon colour, made of 100% Shiraz, hence 'Blanc de Noir'. The wine is left 9 months on the lees prior to bottling. Elegant aromas of fresh strawberries, nuances of nectarine, rose petals and citrus blossom. The palate offers medium acidity, strawberries and a distinctive creamy finish.

Serve with fresh salads, salmon or trout dishes and mild curries.
About the winery:
Hazendal was recently beautifully restored. With attention to wine, good food, an extensive tea experience and "Wonderdal", an interactive playroom for the kids. Hazendal is located in Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch, premium region for, among others, Pinotage. Bottelarij Hills has different slopes, undergoes the cool influences of False Bay in the south and the Atlantic Ocean in the west: an ideal recipe for a range of microclimates. Height of the vineyards vary between 150 m and 400 m. Lady Winemaker is Clarisse Sciocatti-Langeveldt. The ‘Christoffel Hazenwinkel’ range is named after the first owner of the estate.
