Super premium Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowned Rutherford appellation in Napa Valley. 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Petite Sirah and 1% Cabernet Franc are added. Aromas and flavours of red fruit, delicate raspberry and cherry. An additional subtle nuance of graphite, adds a touch of complexity to the overall profile. Extremely well-balanced red wine, combining the freshness of red berries with an intriguing mineral element. Ageing potential of 10 years or longer.

About the winery:
Francis Coppola bought the old Inglenook back in 1975, aiming to restore the grandeur of this historical château and to reunite the original vineyards. This was achieved in 2010. The passion of the film director and his wife are tangible everywhere. The 1882 Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grow in the renowned Rutherford appellation on the same historic sites were Captain Gustave Niebaum produced his first vintage ... in 1882!
Francis Coppola purchased the old Inglenook in 1975 with the aim of restoring the historic château in its original form, reuniting the vineyards, and create world-class wines. The winery itself has become a stylish feast for the eyes, it is beautifully restored and hospitality a high priority. The current winemaker Philippe Bascaules previously worked at Château Margaux for many years. The Inglenook Rubicon is the top wine ... since 1978!
