Characteristics:
Vibrant, deep dark in colour. The nose shows complex aromas of dark and
red berries with a perfumed bouquet. The palate is dense and complex with
fine structured tannins. This is a wine built to last and for early drinking
would benefit with decanting. This wine spent 17 months in French oak of which 30% was new.

Food pairing:
Baked or grilled red meat or ground game, with spicy sauces.
