Characteristics:
Blend of Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon 51%, Merlot 41%, Malbec 4%, Cabernet Franc 3%, Petit Verdot 1%. 24 months on French oak (50% new barrels). Brilliant, deep colour, aromas of cloves, sandalwood and black cassis berries, ripe tannins with ripe fruit and an excellent balance.
Food pairing:
Delicate beef, gently spiced. Slow stews of beef or venison.
